Michelle, of French Caribbean origin, was born from Martinican parents in Paris where she lived until she laid down her suitcase in London one day in autumn 1993.

She has more than one cord to her arch: personal assistant, beauty therapy, book publishing, writing, business start-up, communications, events management and opera singer whilst she has a predilection for Art Nouveau and Deco and a keen interest in History, Current and International Affairs. She wished she had more time for creative activities and empirical sciences.

In 1992, Michelle began a journey to discovering and studying the history of Black peoples which took her, strangely at that time, right back to the Bible whilst living without God.

She firmly believes that God has a message for His people, people of African heritage of which destiny they must fulfil. Hence, in 1998 she produced the first Black History Month programme in the history of the British Union Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. She adds that Christians should conscientiously explore and put to use their God’s given talents, abilities, opportunities to advance His kingdom whilst speaking on behalf of the underprivileged and voiceless.

She is a churchgoer and is dedicated to Jesus-Christ and His church.

Looking back at my life, when time has come for me to depart, I would like to be able to say the words of Harriet Tubman: “The Lord who told me to take care of my people meant me to do it just as long as I live, and so I did what he told me.”
