FRENCH ADVENTIST YOUTH EXHIBITION, CERGY-PONTOISE -  APRIL 16,  2011

For the first time in April 2011, the then “The International African Heritage Diaspora” was invited to exhibit its educational, cultural and spiritual undertakings and discuss its approach to Black History in the biblical perspective for meaning, vision, empowerment, re-establishment and healing.

Around a hundred visitors called on the stall where they could watch a DVD retracing Michelle’s works since 1998 and test their knowledge with a Black history interactive quiz. Many visitors were perplexed whilst altogether delighted at the opportunity to appreciate their history under the light of God’s Word.

This first time experience brought it home to the exhibitor that French Caribbean Seventh-Day Adventists are also looking for answers and have the right to know what has been hidden from them and overlooked in terms of their spiritual and temporal blessings.

While in Paris, Michelle attended one of the numerous Commemoration of Slavery Day’s events that takes place every year on 10th May throughout the French territory, an opening for promoting the organisation.
