FRENCH ADVENTIST  YOUTH EXHIBITION, CERGY-PONYOISE - 27th APRIL 2013

The African Descent International diaspora was present at the now well-wheeled exhibition. This time, two friends from the parisian area had come to lend a hand at the desk and at the camera so that I could freely speak to the visitors to the stand who eagerly wanted to know more.  Past visitors came again. Books and references to support the biblical interpretation of the African heritage history completed by a translation of some of E. G. White's remarks on the Black nation, which many a visitors were surprised to learn about, gave the necessary evidence to a perplexing and sensitive issue. The question was often asked whether a translation was available. The project to translating "The Southern work" became self-evident.

No energy was speared to highlight the brighter future that lay ahead of the Black nation if only the real beauty of the Word of God was fittingly understood, powerfully and effectively utilised. Hitherto, we are a God-believing nation without power and a dim future. This was understood by many who, motivated by a new conviction, promised themselves to read and study the Bible under a new light.

The Wifi connection failed the exhibitors who were unable to connect to the internet. As a consequence, the organisation's website could not be shown to the visitors. Opportunely, a handout explaining the mission and objectives of the organisation was available.

There has been a slight disappointment as this year the number of visitors was lower leading to less visitors to the stand. This was explained by a musical programme running concurently. Whatever the circumstances, the event was an opportunity to reach out and encourage.  Bucket-full encouragements were also directed to the mission of the African Descent International Diaspora.

God has given the vision, it has been written and will not lie. There has been delays but now is the time for its fulfilment.
