TO THOSE LOOKING FOR A BLACK JESUS

ABOUT US

"Do you know the man?" is the question asked in the gospel song "Stranger". What people say about him is something like: "There's a stranger in town,
He's giving sight to the blind... Some say He is the Great I Am, the prophets spoke of. Some even say He's Emmanual, The son of God."

Usually one is more concerned about and attracted by someone's actions and words than debating over their racial features. To some groups however, the latter has been a restless crusade to create a black Jesus for Black/African people who were not devoid of religions, albeit distant from European practised Christianity,  before 15th century European's  landing on the shores of Africa, having in on hand a gun and the other hand a white Jesus to conduct their evil trade of human cargos.

Black/African humanists, intellectuals and panafricanists have for certain found their Black Jesus in Egyptology and the 'backing' of the Bible.

This contextualised study purposes to argument the validity of a black Jesus, provides elements for intelligent discussion as well as reaches an axiomatic verdict in favour of truth.
